Data Deletion Instructions

How to delete your data from Genible.

You can remove your data from Genible at any time. There are three paths depending on what you’re trying to delete and how you signed up.

Effective: May 13, 2026Callback URL: https://genible.com/api/data-deletion
OPTION 01

Delete from inside Genible (fastest)

If you are signed in, you can delete individual records, disconnect integrations, or close your entire account from the app:

  1. Open the Genible app at app.genible.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy & Data.
  3. Choose what you want to delete:
    • Disconnect an integration — removes stored credentials and stops further sync. Imported records remain unless you also delete them.
    • Delete records by type — pick the entity type (e.g. Contacts, Deals, Messages) and confirm.
    • Delete entire workspace — removes every entity, signal, event, file, integration credential, and audit log for that workspace.
    • Close my account — deletes all your workspaces and personal data.
  4. Confirm the action. Deletion is irreversible.

Timeline. Records are removed from the live database immediately. They are purged from rolling backups within 90 days.

OPTION 02

Request deletion by email

If you can't sign in, no longer have an account, or want a formal record of the request, email us:

Subject: Data Deletion Request
Include:
  • The email address associated with your Genible account.
  • Your organization or workspace name if you remember it.
  • What you want deleted (specific records, an integration, the whole account).

What happens next:

  1. We acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
  2. We verify your identity (usually by replying from the email on file).
  3. We complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm in writing when done.
  4. Backups are purged within 90 days on a rolling schedule.

Some records may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. invoices for tax purposes). We will tell you if that applies.

OPTION 03

If you signed up via Facebook Login

If you connected your Facebook account to Genible (for example, while connecting WhatsApp Business via Meta Business Login), you have two ways to request deletion of the data Genible received from Facebook:

Manual: revoke from Facebook

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Business Integrations.
  2. Find Genible in the list.
  3. Click Remove to revoke Genible's access.
  4. Email privacy@genible.com to also delete the data Genible has already received.

Automatic: data deletion callback

Genible implements Facebook's Data Deletion Callback. When you remove Genible from your Facebook account, Facebook automatically pings our callback URL with a signed request, and we kick off deletion of the data we received from Facebook for that user. You will get a confirmation page from Facebook showing:

Callback URL:
https://genible.com/api/data-deletion
Status URL (returned by the callback):
https://genible.com/data-deletion/status?id=<confirmation_code>
Confirmation code: opaque, unique per request

To check the status of an automated deletion request at any time, visit the status URL with your confirmation code.

SCOPE

What gets deleted

A full account deletion removes:

  • Your user record and authentication credentials.
  • Every entity, attribute, relationship, signal, event, and history record in your workspaces.
  • Connected-integration credentials and stored tokens.
  • Files and attachments you uploaded.
  • Conversations, messages, and AI chat history.
  • Workflow definitions, run history, and logs.
  • Audit logs scoped to your workspace.

What we may retain (and for how long):

  • Billing records — for the period required by tax and accounting law.
  • Anonymized usage analytics — counts and aggregates with no reference back to you.
  • Records subject to a legal hold — only where we have an enforceable obligation to preserve them, until the hold is lifted.
